Mark and I went to hear our friend's awesome band Soul Cannon play at Fontana's in Chinatown last week. They rocked the house, my oldest friend Ryan Dorsey is the bass player with mystique and Eze Jackson formerly of "Da Cunnekshun" is the frontman. If you don't know these guys you have to check them, especially if you are into the hip hop beats layered over instrumental live music genre.

You can thank me later....

Now onto the important stuff...what I wore. haha. no seriously...
Tank top by American Apparel, miniskirt by Trina Turk, leggings by Intermix, Maryjanes by Dolce Vita.

Out to dinner at our favorite Polish neighborhood restaurant. Potato pancakes, borscht with dumplings and pierogies... yummy.

Wedge sandals Charlotte Ronson, short shorts by Abercrombie, Kain label tissue tank, Botkier handbag, Vintage blazer<3

I've fallen hard for a new label. Somewhere between the streets of Paris and the beaches of SoCali is where Mara Hoffman's designs live. This is perfect for me because if I could create a dream habitat it would be a mix of those two places. I settle for New York City and occasional trips to Montauk. I was lucky enough to get a tip about her sample sale a few weeks ago and got two gorgeous dresses. It took me over an hour of deliberating however because I wanted EVERYTHING! I easily could have blew my bank account wide open, seriously. I am actually having non-buyers remorse on a few items;)

TREE Hugger.

I have been missing nature ALOT lately. So last night I took this opportunity on the way to dinner with Mark to get way close to it. It was great. Goodbye city life...if only in my dreams.
